Checking the bearing capacity during the driving process of prefab concrete piles is done through the calender process.
After the driving process, the prefab concrete piles can be checked through an acoustic test.

C35/45, C45/55 and C55/65 quality.
Reinforcement
The shorter piles (until around 7,50 m) can traditionally be reinforced with FeB 500 KWL steel. Longer piles can be pre-stretched and reinforced with pre-stretching steel. For the purpose of traction or moments, additional traditional reinforcement may be applied.
Bearing capacity
Ground-mechanical bearing capacity according to Eurocode 7 (NEN 6743). Listed pile category factors:
αp = 1,0.
β = 1,0.
αs = 0,010.
Traction: αt = 0,007.
According to Eurocode 7 (NEN 6743, type 1, fig. 6 and 7) depending on the soil condition.
Pressure until a maximum of 5000 kN.
Traction until a maximum of 600 kN.

Available standard prefab concrete piles, square dimensions (mm):

The maximum pile length is the square dimension multiplied by around 80 to 90.
Application depends on soil condition and drivability.
Prefab concrete piles may also be delivered with a weighted base plate and/or internal or external rib profiles. Prefab concrete piles may also be delivered with a coupling device.
